I used to deal with sarcastic people when i was a copper. When dope waqs illegal in BRitaian and i found some on kids , i let them off the hook and kept it for myself, haha.
Shame these university didn't find cops with my morals , then everyone would end up alright. Dope don't hurt anyone, no more than prescription medication and alcoholic beverages.

So you got fired from your security guard job for... drugs?

Now you know what to watch out for. So, when in a bar, never leave your drink unattended. That stuff is out there and when the natives get a hold of it, they will lose their minds.

I wish someone would spike my drink!!! I wasn't a security guard i was a police officer and i got full pension for being incapable to continue due to mental helath issues.
Dope makes some people like me feel better. Maybe these kids had too much stress and needed to chill out. THe drug can be a good relaxent, i prefer Nozinan and Valium. Why make anatural product illegal? JUst like the lovely magic mushrooms, why ban a good thing?

"Mental health issues"?
Pushed to the forefront by your professed and proud drug abuse?
Were it that everyone in society should follow your stellar example.

To clarify a few things- the so-called 7 spices mix? You know, the one you can find in almost any Japanese restaurant at the table? Yes, one of the 7 spices IS indeed hemp seed. They have already discussed this on Japanese TV- whether it would be better to outlaw the spice, for fear of people planting the seeds in it. My understanding is also that the seeds are roasted, and thus don't grow. I haven't tried, I have no interest in such a thing.
It seems my post has set off a posting frenzy- I hope to clarify that I ask no one, regardless of their views, to try and obtain pot in Japan. The penalties here are severe, even if you don't agree with them. I don't claim to use the stuff here at all. I just know of it's existence, and I'm SICK of both foreigners and Japanese TV alike blowing things out of proportion with little respect to either facts on the drug, or the views of the youth in Japan that are being unfairly smeared by the TV critics claiming superior morality.
The fact is, whether you've used it or not, marijuana is nearly harmless. You cannot OD and die on it, and only chronic long term use is shown to affect memory adversely permanently- you cannot develop a physical dependency "habit" to it like beer or tobacco. Thus, it is, physically speaking, less harmful than modern drugs like alcohol, which you CAN OD on, and develop dependency on. And it is specifically these facts which I have seen misrepresented in Japanese media that anger me- it is one thing to say something is wrong or dangerous, and it is another to say so using fake data and heresay to profess your claims. The Japanese media should really take a look at Erowid.org, and educate themselves.
And to Ronin- the term drug abuse should only be applied to people who choose to smoke daily, simply as escape from life- that's not physical dependancy, but it is abuse. They will suffer in the long run, but don't every label anyone who has smoked pot occasionally a "drug abuser". Drinking to excess is drug abuse, smoking anything to excess is abuse, anything in absurd quantity is abuse. Remember things like morphine are still administered for medical use, sometimes not by doctors, but does that make any use at all "abuse"? No, it doesn't. Get off your moral high horse and come back down to Earth, Ok?

This is comedey right. Someone actually posted that kids are out of control becouse of weed. Why not bash the parents for letting the hellions run loose. How about bashing your kid for being a morron and a embaresment to you. If I pulled the crap kids do know my mother would be on death row for child abuse.
Now to the weed at hand. YES its easy to get in japan. Hell mushrumes used to be leagle till yahoo screewed that up. I smoke not on a regular bassis but I do for my back pain from degenerative disc desiese and for my arthritis in my knees. I have a complete life and a very good job. People around me know Im not a pot head or that I fit the so called Hippy profile. Now I could go and pay some phamacutical company to whip up god knows what for the pain and charge me a arm and a leg for it, or I can self medicate with something thats been around a hell of alot longer then the drug companys. These kids are probobly sitting around playing videogames getting high before they have to go study some more. This is BS but I guess they could be out huffing thinner and causing mayham in the streets.
Thenewfront at 01:33 AM JST - 4th January
DXXJP- I agree. Pot was the best remedy i hade for my condition that doctors told me i would be unemployable for life. Now i run my own business, mostly i am on barbs (valium) mostly and other calming drugs.
These kids could be ruined for life , it's crap!! I know about needing something to relax oneself and releiev stress and for many pot works, if taken sensibly, for granted.
These kids should have a lecture from medical professionals about the pros and cons of drugs and let them be adult enough to mak etheir own mind up.
I got stopped by Japanese cops with 40 Ritalin. What you gonna do cps, i go to 5 differnet centers to get what i need. Narcolypsy is my Ritalin new route.
Too thick here, people like me, get aweay with murder, innocent kids may go to prison, pathetic.
The_Marion at 04:47 AM JST - 5th January
Much ado about nothing - what a waste of newspaper's ink -- you users will justify the crucifixion of Christ Marijuana is illegal and Ritalin is not - change and quit your bitching
notimpressed at 09:32 AM JST - 5th January
interesting marion, marijuana is illegal, but you cant overdose and die from it. Ritalin is legal, and you can overdose and die from it. Go figure...
oreoreda at 10:53 AM JST - 5th January
University students smoking weed, whatever next eh? Why don't the Japanese police target the out-of-control drunks, the chikan, human trafficking in the sex trade, the nonces &c. before nicking a student for 2.3g of cannabis. If they are really serious about cracking down on marijuana, they should go for the producers/distributors; these sorts of arrests of very petty offenders reek of face/showing everyone how concerned the police are about drugs.

DXXJP I have the same problem I am HLAB 27+.You too?Recently have been able to sort it with implant accupuncture.Never say no to a puff myself if it is being passed around!.Can`t say it has done much for your spelling.Sure you are only a mild user?
DXXJP at 12:03 AM JST - 7th January
Im the first to admit I cant spell. Product of the US school system. I used a tens electric stimulater for a while but that didnt last long. Been doped up on all sorts of stuff from the doc, that wasnt the life I wanted. Somedays I couldnt feel anything others I was in a daze. I know the US has prescribed weed, and I think other countrys should look into this. I dont do it all the time maybe 4 days out of the week, usually before bed so Im not looped during the day.
