If there any evidence of a conspiracy, then it make sense to consider it. But now there is nothing to support it. Jail suicides occur everywhere in the world - making LA out to be different is ridiculous. Most guilty people are pretty despondent when considering their future as they sit in a jail cell.

if it keeps them in the limelight, cash, suits, media... they will milk it to the end.

Oh...how covenient.

Some people seem to forget he (the Japanese equivilant of O.J.) hired someone to kill his wife and they are practically calling him "sama" on the news here.

I think they have a problem knowing what to call him. He can't be "san" because of his notoriety and his involvement in crimes; he can't be "yogisha" because in Japan he was acquitted of the crime of murder and did time for the crime of assault. I think calling him "motoshacho" is a compromise. They aren't 'practically calling him "sama"', at least not on the news I've seen.

Yet, if he hanged himself in a Japanese prison it would be all over and done with by now with no law suits or media at all.

They needed an autopsy to insure that he was not poisoned or beaten to death and then hung to make it look like suicide. Cover all the bases so to speak.

Well they can certainly call him a killer now. We know at least one person he's killed for sure.

REDRUM Can't wait to hear how LA explains itself out of this one. They kidnapped him out of Saipan on the pre-text that Japan has no conspiracy to commit murder crime. What a crock of horse doo doo! The man spent five years in jail on that charge!!!! After being acquited of the LA shooting he was charged on the dodgy claim that an ex-lover and her friend were hired by Miura-san to kill his wife in an LA hotel a few months before the shooting. And since when do retired cops have the power to extradite Japanese? The straw that breaks the camel's back is the claim by these ex-cops that they were tracking him for years. Total fib since Muira was in jail on one technicality after another. He was sitting in jail for most of the past twenty years. But I must admit there was another Muira on the jet-set circuit: Kazu, the soccer player who coincidently shares the same name.

Why autopsy? The death is known. Now they will chop, chop him, looking for guilty or not guilty verdict. Will they also perform autopsy on his T-shirt, if was made in US or China, and if it was made in China, it wouldn't be so strong to hold him up. My T-shirts are all made in China and they only take maximum of four washes, and than I use them for cleaning windows. Miura certainly done a good job, and I wonder why he didn't use his pants instead or he hadn't any.
dennis0bauer at 03:47 PM JST - 14th October
does that mean he is guilty?
POTUS at 10:59 PM JST - 14th October
Today's Yukan Fuji referred to him simply as "Miura" and dropped the silly moto-shacho title.

people, what are you talking about.. of course there is a possibility of commiting suicide inside the prison but why the authorities take no action of keeping the environment safe by not allowing harmful materials inside? why! why! why! i'm saddened with this news, so sad.
Zuleyka at 04:13 AM JST - 15th October
he should have monitored closely.. of course it is a sign that he will probably commit suicide because he has shown no distress and in good spirit. it is actually a sign that a person is most likely to commit suicide..ater being depressed and after the first attempt he will then make people believe that he is okay and overcome the crisis but in fact he is in good spirit and condition to commit suicide again and try to succeed in it. That's what miura probably did..so sad
