Bank in Ibaraki gets bomb threat

Police evacuated a bank in Kamisu, Ibaraki Prefecture, on Wednesday after a man called 110 and threatened to blow up a bank.

According to police, the call was made from a public phone at 10:15 a.m., NTV reported. The caller said a bomb would go off in the Kamisu branch of the Chiba Bank.

Police mobilized about 80 officers in the area and evacuated the bank, but no bomb was found.
