The body of a newborn baby girl was found in a park in Yamato, Kanagawa prefecture, on Tuesday.
According to police, the body was found in a small clump of bushes by a park employee around 3:40 p.m., NTV reported. The baby's body was wrapped in a towel.
Police said they are examining street surveillance camera footage to try and and identify the person or persons who brought the infant's body to the park.

If you're going to abandon your baby at least bundle up and drop your baby off at a hospital, church or city office where it's guaranteed that the little boy or girl will live.
