Body part found in murder suspect's garage matches victim's blood type
OSAKA —
Police said Tuesday they have uncovered further evidence in the case of an Okayama temp worker who was found murdered in a car in Osaka last month.
According to NTV, Misa Kato, 27, was found stabbed to death in a car in the parking space of a company at which she had previously been employed as a temp worker. Her former coworker, 29-year-old Koichi Sumita has been under investigation by police on suspicion of her murder.
Police revealed that evidence discovered in a garage rented by Sumita was tested and found to contain DNA material matching the blood type of the victim, NTV reported. Police said they previously found Kato’s bank book and insurance documents at Sumita’s home.

Blood type? Seriously? Is this the 1970's where they do blood type matching? Seeing there are only a few different blodd types this isn't really solid proof.

Did someone get the details wrong? The headline says that a body part was found in his garage, but the article doesn't mention it at all. In fact, it seems there was only a stabbing. A body part being severed indicates more than a stabbing.
Details, please?

Well, just hope it wasn't "planted" since the details aren't matching up from earlier reports.

Blood type... Really? Wouldn't that be about as accurate as saying, " we found a hair of the same color as his"?
