Consumer finance company owner found killed in Shizuoka

SHIZUOKA —

A 63-year-old consumer finance company owner was found strangled in his office in Shizuoka City, on Tuesday night, police said Wednesday. Police said money had been stolen.

Hitoshi Asano, who is the sole owner of the company Cashing Hit, and runs the branch alone, was found by a friend behind a counter around 7:20 p.m. Police said the office had been ransacked. The victim’s friend said money which had been kept under the counter and inside a locker had been stolen.
