Court OKs book bearing name of man convicted of crime as juvenile

HIROSHIMA —

The Hiroshima High Court turned down a demand Monday by a man convicted of murder to suspend publication of a book that names him even though he was a minor at the time of the crime, his lawyer said. The 28-year-old man convicted of the 1999 murder of a mother and her baby daughter in Hikari, Yamaguchi Prefecture, has asked the court to issue a provisional injunction to suspend publication.

The man, who is appealing his death sentence to the Supreme Court, argued that it is against the Juvenile Law, which bans reporting the names of juvenile delinquents. The first 4,000 copies of the book, written by Michiko Masuda and issued on Oct 7, sold out and the publisher has decided to print an additional 20,000.

This maggot was not too juvenile to kill a mother and her little baby - so he is not too jevenile to have his name published. Precious little petal, he seems. Face up to your cowardly crimes you weak loser. Can't wait til' he swings on that noose! Yeah!
