Not a bad implication. I remember this case. The guy was a total violent rape manga otaku freak, who even had a picture of the victim trussed up on his keitai, which he showed to all his mates down at his local ramen shop.
No, it is a sloppy implication. You just completely ignored my murder movie point. Do you think many murderers were not also found to have splatter movies in their possession? Are you for banning the possession of splatter and murder movies too? What is the difference? Yeah, I remember this bastard's case too. I don't deny he had massive amounts of sick material.
But fact is that for all the thousands in possession, the people who do this are a paltry few, even in Japan. I would wager something in the 99 percent range. In some circles, 99 percent is a significant figure. How about with you? Does 1 percent instead make the case in your mind?
Is it just coincidence that a lot of these 'killing little girl' crimes happen in the country where access to similar media material is so freely available?
A lot? That has got to be the weak statement of the year! You would not say a majority, or even a disproportionate amount? Then why even mention it?
No, its no coincidence that he had the stuff, just like its no coincidence a serial slasher has a knife in his kitchen. Watch out for mom! She has a whole set!
The logic is sound. And so is the reality. For all we hear about the numbers of manga and even child porn DVDs etc, the numbers of kids that get murdered are very, very, very, very, very, very few. Obviously there is either is no relationship or the relationship is the exact opposite of what you suggest. Darn pesky logic ruining another good rant.
I want this story repeated over and over. This should never be forgotten lest we all get lax and it happens again. What I don't want to read about is a repeat of the crime.
Conservatives believe in protecting the innocent and killing the guilty (murderers/rapists/etc.)
Liberals believe in protecting the guilty and killing the innocent (unborn)
Simple really
Yes, what you wrote is extremely simple.
Nobody wants to protect this guy. If he is hung, no one will cry for him. If and when that day comes, you will see, unless of course you continue to interpret following rules and aversion to barbarism as sympathy. Its nothing of the kind.
Beyond foiling that utterly ridiculous and simple pair of statements, I am not in the mood to explain it to you. I suspect I could waste my time with slightly more effect elsewhere.
Is there any evidence with 'DNA?' If the answer is yes, than don't waste time hang him immediately. He is just trying to get away with it, and buying his time. Am I wrong???
I can't see any reason for granting this man a retrial. The crime was hideous, and I think the evidence was as close to 100% as you can get. Japan should abolish the Death Sentence and have people like this work 12 hours of hard labour a day, every day, with every yen paid to the family of the victim.
Not that it matters but a quick google on the crime says it was post mortem
As far as knowing what that poor little girl went through, it does matter.
As far as what should happen to Kaeru (he does look like a frog in that pic), you are right, it makes no difference. If I were not the civilized human being I am, I would say hang him in either case. Being civilized I say a dark cell until the Devil takes him.
I consider myself to be civilized, and say, hang him. Don't delay, do it today! Being civilized, doesn't mean you don't or can't support the death penalty. In fact, I would say, that it means you must. Those who don't support the death penalty for people who have stepped outside the boundaries of humanity, are quite simply, denying Justice for their victims. That to me is not civilization.
