    He said he accidentally hit Watanabe with his company’s truck last April 12 and then persuaded her to get in to take her where she was staying.

    Sounds like this married guy tried to pick her up (for sex) by telling her he was going to drive her to the place she was staying. She got suspicions and started telling him in Japanese to let her out and stop or something to that effect. He didn't, so she jumped out due to panic and died of a head wound.

    We'll just put him in the category with Mr.Nigerian Nat'l "let's stab a 60 yr old taxi driver in the neck with a kitchen knife," soon to be doing hard time in Yokosuka city prison.
