And this means what? Probably in the last year or so, this guy has come to realize that his actions have guaranteed him a date with the rope. Now he is starting to offer apologies in order to avoid such an outcome.
Sorry bud, no sympathy here. If I had had my way, the cop who arrested you would have slotted you on the spot.
If he is wondering whether the apology is sincere or not, he shouldn't bother. Apologizing without your whole heart behind it is not an apology at all. I think an apology will be much more believeable after he has been convicted and spent a few years behind bars.
I agree with some other posters here: this "apology" will get him a much lighter sentence. After all, he has shwon remorse in writing it, right? So, really, he's now not all that bad a chap....just soemone who made a "poor" choice....
Seeing how the dude who killed and cut up his sister only got 7 years, I'd be surprised if this perp gets more than ten....
The bad thing about this post and many others in the past is the next level. We will read about him committing suicide and leaving another note apoligizing for his misdoings and killing himself. Watch him carefully J-cops.
The man indicted for a fatal stabbing rampage in Tokyo’s Akihabara district last year has sent a letter of apology to "ONE" of the victims
a classic case of suspect/lawyer bravada!....that guy is full of crap!!!..he is scared to die, just by doing that i mean that only tells me he took no consideration to the other people he murdered/injured.

some14some, are you serious? There is no way this guy is getting a suspended sentence.

The murderer does have a point, there's not much done to prevent future murders just to resolve them after they happen.

As we know, in Japan, if a criminal shows remorse, his sentence is lighter.

Right. I think partial death would be fine.

Just hang him without any delay in public to prevent a similar crime.
