Elderly woman found dead in snow in Hokkaido

An elderly woman was found dead on Tuesday in an empty lot in Sapporo City, covered in snow and with what appeared to be stab wounds to her upper body, police said Wednesday.
A passer-by noticed the body in the lot in Kita Ward at around 2.15 p.m. and called police. Most of the woman’s body was covered in around 10 cm of snow, and apparent stab wounds along with scratches and bruises were found on her body. Police said an autopsy would be conducted Wednesday to confirm the cause of death.
The woman is believed to be a 72-year-old nearby resident, who had been missing since early Monday morning, and whose family had asked police to search for her later that day.
Police said footage recorded by security cameras at a convenience store about 200 meters away showed a similar-looking woman shopping there at about 5.30 a.m. Monday morning.

I think she first bled to death then if she still was somehow alive ended up freezing to death, but that is not the point, the point is that some evil, horrible person would even think of stabbing a poor old woman! RIP poor old Hokkaido woman.

She gets stabbed, falls and freezes to death. Certainly not that hard to understand where to other poster was coming from was it? Why can't some of you understand that just because you were stabbed doesn't equal death. I figure stabbed, weak from losing blood, fell, froze to death.

Elderly people in this country often carry heaps of cash on them (if they have money in general), and it's probably someone probably mugged her. Why they felt the need to murder her instead of just stealing her purse (if that's the case), I know not... but it did say scratches and bruising, so maybe she put up a fuss and the person in question killed her.
Don't go to the convenience store so early.
