they are some religious fad, whoever says something bad about them gets sued. basically they own a party, Komeito, which should be illegal, since constitution forbids mixing of religion and politics. of course, they claim it is pure coincidence that all the Komeito members are soka gakkai

Yes, you have to be careful not to speak the truth concerning them. There is very little that is Buddhist about Soka Gakkai.
