    Japan is awash in cannabis!!

‘‘The defendant’s criminal responsibility is not light considering his status as a professional athlete,’’

What the hell does his occupation have to do with the magnitude of responsibility???

Hemp is a very useful fiber. They make clothes of hemp cloth and hemp oil if great for massage, but the commerical hemp and cannabis are not the same. The commercial type does not product the substance that makes you hihg.

    Samuraiiki:

forced his girlfriend, a 23-year-old former actress, to buy marijuana

Maybe she got 6 mos. for buying the cannabis and 10 mos. for being criminally stupid.

Activities which produce no victims should not be crimes.

He "forced her" to buy and yet he gets only 6 months and she 18 months? I think the judge hates women. Sorry your honour, but not all women are your momma.

Exactly, there are no victims at all. Just alot of great stoned sex between a couple in the privacy of their own home.

"Activities which produce no victims should not be crimes."

    Whatever. "Shoulda, coulda, woulda".

FACT: It IS against the law now. FACT: They broke the law. FACT: They should be, and were, punished accordingly.

Just because one THINKS something illegal should be legal, does not exempt them from the law.

I THINK the speed limit should be higher on Japan expressways. But if caught speeding - the fault lies with me and me only.

Well, perhaps that's why they got suspended sentences :-)

Tennis player and an actress what a match of the year Tennis player can puff marijuana faster than the actress because he is very feet. Actress couldn't handle it because she was aware that this is 'Balinese plant of God.' Surely she must put all her garbage on someone and he is very lucky that judge gave suspended sentence. If that was someone else will possibly land up behind the bars for few years Is law in Japan different for 'SPORTS STARS' This 'balls player' will one day make serious mistake, and than he will join 'inmates club' for few years. He is suffering from social sanctions, HEY wasn't he aware that marijuana is illegal? I do not believe to such crap from either side.

I believe the police had no solid evidence against him. He was arrested on hearsay - the porn star's confession - and then he confessed while in detention. That's probably why he got the lighter sentence.

Had he been a foreigner he would have gotten 3 yrs MINIMUM.

  • akuma1985 at 12:59 PM JST - 24th December
