Seeing the age of the victims, I hope he really gets life and the sentence is not commuted. The fact that he got away from 27 cases, should tell how seriously rape complaints are handled by the japanese police. Obviously way behind retrieving lost bicycles on their agenda.
There is a sickness in Japan, and it seems to be spreading like wildfire.
This lovely country has changed so much for the worse in the last 4 years alone!!
9 years ago there were bad people here, but lately it seems to be an almost daily occurrence!
Wow, I'm surprised they actually gave him a decent sentence. A rapist finally getting what he deserves. Well, no death would be what he deserves, but life in prison is acceptable.

actually you may find that the media has been unmuzzled over the past 4 years rather than these daily occurances not being there. I assure you, nothing has changed here at all. Just the media has a lot more freedom rather than being used to control the population by the Government. I guess it had you fooled too. You thought Japan was a crime free safe haven but all this has been happening under your nose the whole time so don't fret or feel afraid. you survived this long didn't you?

He is a repeat offender, life sentence seems to be less punishment for him.
