Ladies, if a man flashes you, just start laughing and shout out in either Japanese or English "Wow! It's so small!" "すごい!本と小さいね!"
I know it's no joke, my friend was flashed at in the UK. First she cried and after when she had calmed down, she actually joked about it, saying she had never seen one so big!
But all joking aside, these perverts need some serious jail time! That way, they will have plenty of time to flash and be flashed at by their own kind!

The police hadn't been called to the scene yet. As the article clearly points out, the incident happened in the presence of station staff.
I hope this woman's okay and I really hope they catch the coward who did this.

Very disappointed that in the multitude of onlookers there was no one who felt compelled to make sure that jerk didn't get away.

Yet another validation of the increasingly unhealthy psychology of many in Japan. I'll say it again, Japan had best get moving with some plans to encourage people to accept and seek psychological care. The alternatives are getting more and more twisted every day.

The whole mental issue with flashers is rooted in their feelings of sexual inadequacy and powerlessness in the face of women. By flashing they experience power, as the general reaction is for the woman to scream and run away.
Flashers, being a sad lot for the most part, do not realize that it is not their mighty organ striking fear into womens hearts, but the simple fear that they are escaped mental patients.
The loser in this scenario was most likely upset at the fact that the woman reacted calmly and alerted authorities.
Sad, sad, sad.

I wish she had had a taser. How could this guy get away in a crowded station? i would have grabbed his little aishe and ripped the little thing off. I dont care what the consequences. Please let the next dirtbag do this i at my station or on my train. In 5 years, I have never seen or witmessed anything bigger than a parking ticket.

you want to see a big one eh?

lipscombe, all i need to do is look down...heheh. seriously, i meant the act of pushing the gal and running away, not the flashing part. I think that part is lame, but not in the same league as pushing her off the tracks. That is attempted murder.

But the pun was unintentional. Clever of you to point it out.

How about changing round the emphasis in your headline, JT? Would-be murderer flashes woman before pushing her onto tracks, maybe. He tried to kill her! The flashing part, nasty and disturbing as that might be, is less important than the fact he tried to off her, surely?

Good advice, do not help anybody. Consequences? You will end up in jail for touching Japanese regardless what he has just done.(99.9% conviction rate)

Maybe she disturbed him while he was urinating and he got upset at her. I see a lot of peeing off in japan.

Probably true Euro1, but I could not abide just watching. I would be in another kind of prison for the rest of my life, a Guilt prison. The police need all the help they can get.
