Four injured after 10 men brawl in Saitama family restaurant

A man was unconscious in hospital on Wednesday and another three were seriously injured after an argument which started in a Skylark Gusto family restaurant in Koshigaya City turned into a fight involving more than 10 men.

Police received a call just after noon from an employee saying there were men fighting in the restaurant. Police rushed to the scene and found two men in their 20s lying on the ground at the gas station across the road. Both of them were bleeding and one of them had been stabbed, and he remained in critical condition Wednesday night. Two more men received treatment for their injuries, police said.

Police said one of the windows of the restaurant was smashed when the fight erupted, but that no other customers were injured. One customer told police that the men seemed to be arguing over a girl before they started fighting.
