Thinking one step further, where did the official get the "training weed" from?
And I wonder, why it is 142g in one report on then 124g in another.
Could it be, that the customs official did take his share before planting?
smithinjapan, nimbus, actually he wouldn't have been executed in Singapore as you need to be carrying over 500g of cannabis for the death sentence. He might not have sat down for a few weeks though..
How do you OD on pot I have been trying unsuccesfully for years. And the narita retards should be beaten with a stick for pulling this. Anywhere along this guys travles was a prison sentence waiting to happen. The only reson the narita idiot spoke up was because he didnt have the dope to put back in the lock up.
"Given this, it might be surprising to know that in all the many years people have been using marijuana, to the best of anyone's knowledge, no one has ever died from a pot overdose."
That's only cause people pass out first.
Or forget to die.
Notice they didn't put it in a returning Japanese traveler. Because why would a Japanese import drugs. Duh? Only Gaijin bring their filth in the country riiiight?
Aslo, had it been a Japanese tourist, wouldn't the Police be looking at some serious civil suit? Oh forget it. Damn just put in the gaijin suit case and pay damages of 5 bows and 6 gomeni's. Yokoso!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is such a dangerous thing to do. Imagine putting drugs in your suitcase just to check the security system. There are some real idiots in Japan. The US custom is a real bastard case but I am convinced they would not pull such a reckless stunt.
I wonder what 142g translates to? lunch box? or zip lock? either way, officials in Japan have long ways to go in protecting the public from drug trafficking. When you have Doraemon as the official mascot for the public police, no wonder.

Dogs don't rip open bags. That is the job of the customs inspector after the dog has completed a successful cast.

Not a long way off from putting it in his bag, finding it, and then arresting him for possession, is it?
