The name is the same as that of a chief executive of a self-described private mercenary and security firm.

I hope for his sake this is not true. These ISIS folks have shown over and over again in both Syria and Iraq that they do not put much value on human life. Just this past weekend they killed a reported 80 Yazidi men because they refused to renounce their religion and convert to Islam. God pray for his well-being.

Sadly, there may be a beheading soon.

sadly, but if you play with fire you might get burned.

Why on earth this clown was in an ISIS controlled area is beyond me. If they find out (any ISIS rfighters on JT??) that he was a self-styled private mercenary I agree he is likely to end up a foot or so shorter.

I felt a lot of sympathy for him watching the video and I hope that he is released. Having said that, the more I see of him on TV, the angrier I get that he was even there in the first place. He sounds like little more than a war tourist looking for a thrill in a country full of misery and despair. They had a journalist on TV who had met him a couple of weeks ago in Syria who said he made him feel very uncomfortable - dressing up in military style clothing and carrying weapons around, which normal people (journalists, doctors, aid workers, etc) no is something that will get you killed. The man is clearly an idiot and only for that reason have I not completely lost all the sympathy I initially felt for him.

Detaining Japanese man incident by ISIS.

Japan was the friendly relations between the Islamic world.

This incident is impossible and Nonsense. It is a case that should not occur.

Japan helped the independence Malaysia and Indonesia.

In the first Middle East War, they "Friendship certified Japan", It has been excluded from the developed countries oil export ban treatment by the Islamic world.

Japan is the largest sponsor of Palestine. Even in Iran, it's friendly and Japan.

The JSDF, built a school and a hospital in Iraq. It was subjected to food and water and medical care.

Japan and JSDF does not hurt the Muslims even once !!

Or maybe is a staged plot to get some share of the large ransom money that our taxes pay and its not accountable. He has connected friends according to his FB pics.

"Japan was the friendly relations between the Islamic world."

Including Algeria, where Islamists murdered 10 Japanese engineers last year?

"Japan helped the independence Malaysia and Indonesia."

Japan's military invaded those countries and murdered about a million citizens in the process in order to exploit their resources. Japan's view of "independence" meant those countries were to become obedient and second-class subjects of Emperor Hirohito.

@Masaki Miyamoto- Please get your fact right about Japan helping Malaysia and Indonesia with independence. Japan lie/cunningly promise the then nationalist for independence, and yet they just the same. Only after the natural resources, how the people suffer under the occupation. Now just ‘bribing’/cleansing they past in order to forget in so called delevopment finance support..bah! anyway the Japanese that caught by ISIS was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Other news report that he was with the other rebel faction which hapen to be rival of ISIS. Wannabe mercernary with softair/cosplayer??

" he tried to connect relation between shia and sunni "

where did you get that from? From his FB page, it is pretty clear that he mainly tried to play with weapons and impress some friends back home.
