There is a pretty big chasm for what passes as good tradesmanship in Japan and Indo, so quite possibly he was a shoddy tradie and a nutter to boot. Plus he is attacking a little old lady, the filthy coward.

So this should actually read "Indonesian women killed", right? Why does the emabssy get contacted if the women isn't Japanese?

RIP to this women but I find it "funny" how Japanese people don't voice their complaints IN Japan but when they are outside of Japan they get nasty with complaints and demanding better quality. Shame they DON'T do it here as things would be better all around for society.

And not defending this guy because there is no excuse for what he did but maybe this woman provoked a response by the way she treated him. There are numerous cases of foreigners in countries like Indonesia treating the locals poorly because they have money and feel superior to them and treat them like servants and lower class people.

The Japanese embassy in Jakarta where Itawa worked part-time at the consular section said she had given up her Japanese citizenship after marrying an Indonesian. The embassy said it did not know when she had changed her nationality.

Which is it? Did they know or didn't they?

Excuse me......I meant to add, if they knew, they at the embassy should have the records of when she gave up her nationality. Seems to me that the embassy was amiss somewhere along the line.

Getting huffed when someone calls your work shoddy is one thing, but to kill an old lady, hang her from the shower and then rob her? Scum planned this all along, I'll wager.

Firing squad's too good for this piece of filth... something slow and painful would be more appropriate.
