Since Thialand is a great place to party I doubt that the police will be spending much time actually investigating (or should I say they will investiage all the bars this guy had been seen in and then some.
the jpolice could not even find a barefoot guy with no money in tokyo. now, they are going to find clues in thailand? can you imagine how happy these guys were when they told them they will take a "business trip".

This will be interesting, as it's a mirror image of the cases where Brazilians have fled Japan, and the local authorities there had to try the case.
