Jilted man arrested for stabbing ex-girlfriend, torching apartment

A 22-year-old unemployed man was arrested on Monday night for stabbing his 19-year-old ex-girlfriend and torching her apartment in Koganei City, Tokyo. The girl suffered severe injuries to her stomach and arms but was in a stable condition, police said Tuesday.

Hiroki Kondo, 22, was arrested for allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend, who is a vocational school student, with a knife and then torching her apartment around 4:20 p.m. Kondo fled but was apprehended a short time later near a police box at a local train station.

Kondo was quoted by police as saying, “I stabbed her because she dumped me. I wanted to get even with her.”

Unemployed? How unusual? Hope the police dust off the phone books when handling this character, 10 minutes with the yellow pages seems to highly warranted in this case. Hope they also go after him for attempted murder rather than just GBH.

Kijimuna: I know for some odd reason you're defending Japan tooth and nail here, but it doesn't fly. Sure, the same thing happens once in a WHILE to the same tune in other countries, but it's basically become every day that stabbings occur over 'I didn't like my dad', 'she dumped me', etc., and much more so than in the places you try to even out Japan with. God forbid if these wackjobs had guns!

Sorry, mate, but this is happening EVERY DAY in this country... and that's what's being reported. Sure, it's happening elsewhere in the world EVERY DAY as well, but not in the same place at the same time.

Now, WHY are Japanese going the way of the psycho on a daily basis is the good question. The reason for others going psycho, as you say, is nothing new... but the rate here, and the inability of anyone to prevent or do anything about it, IS. Deal with it.

I predict this would happen to my gf's friend as her absolute tosser bf lives in her apartment, and tries to take total control of everything. She hasn't seen her friends for several months cuz that dweeb doesn't want her to. I can only imagine what would happen if she tries to dump him. I say Yakuza is necessary for this kind of crap. Pay them a small fee, maybe shag one, but they will make sure you won't see that skum again.

Yeah he is a loser and his spiritual mind is too weak. Vengeful person ends up nothing. He is not an open minded person. A selfish greed person. He don't understand important things in life.
