Stalker nation. Now the judges are stalking. Wonder if he had a stalker too.

well the story is a bit vague and maybe this woman always gave him false hope by not being assertive and perhaps was intimidated by his strong position. either way, a 55 year old man should be able to take a hint when his advanced yield no reply, unless of course he is enamored by his own ego and seriously immature.

What exactly has he done wrong? None of those messages were outrageous. This story is very vague, even if the advances were unwanted he should have been warned before the arrest. Something is not right.

Sounds a little fishy...it's simply an email and wonder if she replied back to tell him to bugger off? If she didn't, I hope she at least warned him that if he didn't piss off that she call the cops for harassment.

Oh NO! Poor Thing! she got emails!Waaaahhh boo hoo!. I get 10 dirty smam mails a day from dirty web sights. Are they stalking me? If I dont know the sender, I delete the mail without opening. If I do know the sender and dont want the mail, I BLOCK the address. Holy .... people need to grow a pair. Even the women. I ahve no idea what whos his face is talking about when mentioning american women. If an American woman isnt interested, or any western woman pretty much, she will tell you to .... off. We dont need women only trains in the west because the ladies fight back, mace, tasers and guns.

He sent repeated, anonymous emails to her. She had no idea who he was and no way of warning him to stop.

It sounds like the internet-age version of heavy breathing on the phone.

    Let's not "judge" too quickly

Kind of shady, we'll have to wait for the whole story before I can tell what's happening. But if true, just another day, another oyaji harassing or stalking a young woman.

    .........Agree!

Whatever happened to Netiquette? Rule 4. Always sign your name at the bottom. Yellow Card.

Ah what it had to be like in the old days ( 1908 to 2008) when you could just walk into the office and request sex, knowing they wont refuse becouse they would loose their job.

Damn activists stay in your own country.........really Im suprised the jcops did anything all, to often we read about them dead becouse the cops just blew them off. Somebody was out for a promotion thats all.

Well I'm sure enforcing Japanese family laws for many years e.g. when a woman refuses sex to her husband it is ground for a divorce (not visa versa of course), it kind of messes up a healthy respect for the opposite gender.

If the police were able to track the messages and e-mails to this judge then darn right it's harrasment. She had every reason to be concerned and should have reported it. Who knows, it could have been a stalker and with rapes on the rise in Japan I would have done the same. Any unwanted advances should be stopped.

Aren't Utsunomiya and Kofu at opposite ends of the mega-opolis? How did the alleged stalker come to allegedly fixate on her?

Sending unsolicited mail. To the woman they were outrageous and constituted psychological harassment and stress. You will change your tune when it happens to your sister, daughter, wife.

  • KaptainKichigai at 11:23 AM JST - 25th May

I get hundreds of unsolicited mail everymonth. There are security settings on a phone. Does giving someone the finger in bad traffic or slamming on the car horn constitute harassment and cause psychological damage too? My point is, its a rude, dirty, perverted world out there. Toughen up and save the empathy for real victims.
