    Life sentence when no-one was killed? Seems a bit harsh when you consider drunk drivers get off with just a few months when they kill whole families.

    how come it takes 34 years to see this through? Is the Japanese legal system this ass backwards?? I hope i don't get caught jaywalking it may take 5-10 years to get out...

    When was the guy caught, these crimes happened 30+ years ago? Has he been free all this time or already rotting in jail?
