Man, 74, stabbed at bus stop in Yokohama

KANAGAWA —

A 74-year-old man was stabbed at a bus stop in Yokohama on Thursday afternoon. The suspect fled, police said, adding that the victim was taken to hospital with knife injuries to his thighs.

According to police, Yoshio Miyagawa, 74, was stabbed suddenly from behind by a man while he was waiting for a bus around 2 p.m. The victim told police the suspect was about 160 cm tall, aged in his 30-40s and was wearing a white shirt and brown pants.

    Omg this is freakin scary, but then again we dont know the whole story, like any history behind the stabbing or is there any long time bad blood between the victim and the perp, so can't really comment on this case. The crime is around afternoon time, so just gotta admit, the perp's got grapefruits for balls.

    Have you thought about the inordinate number of crimes committed here in Japan with a knife? It seems like the stabbings are increasing each day.

    When will this country address the important issue of mental health care? Counseling may be taboo to the Japanese, but it is absolutely essential to the well-being of society!

    This does seem to be gaining fad status, like killing oneself with those two unmentionable products mixed together. Perhaps introducing a retro counter fad would be a good idea...there's jellybeans, for example. All that sugar may kill you, but it's much slower.
