Man held for abducting ex-girlfriend in Aichi
AICHI —
Police on Monday arrested a man for abducting his ex-girlfriend and assaulting her with a knife during a 24-hour period in Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture. Hiromasa Furusawa, 28, who lives in Yamaguchi City, was arrested for allegedly abducting the 28-year-old woman after visiting her house in Nagasaki Prefecture around 11 a.m. on Saturday.
According to police investigations, Furusawa threatened her with a knife and forced her into his car. Police found his car in Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture, about 24 hours later, after being alerted by the woman’s family.

Thank goodness she is alive, sick freak. One thing in the world I especially despise are insecure guys who are obsessed with and simply cannot let an ex go, to the point of stalking them. Creeps, all of them.

It doesn't say anything about her being alive. Remember, this is japan where the cops always begin the 'minor' provable offences (disposing of a body etc) and build up to the more seious ones.
