Police in Tokyo have arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of molesting a 14-year-old girl last month. Police believe the suspect, Hiroshi Kamata, may have been responsible for 20 similar cases over the past few months.
According to police, Kamata approached the girl as she was walking home at around 7 p.m. on June 23, in Katsushika Ward, Sports Nippon reported. He then allegedly forcibly hugged her from behind while he was exposing himself. The girl told police that Kamata also licked her face.
Police said Kamata, who was identified through street surveillance camera footage, has confessed to the charge, as well as to committing at least 20 other similar acts of sexual assault since March near his home. He was quoted as saying that after he picked his target, he would imagine touching her body, and then tail them for about three months before finally making his move.
Police said Kamata rode his bike up behind unsuspecting young girls, and then waited for them to turn down a narrow lane before attacking them.

TAIL THEM FOR 3 MONTHS!!! Guess they forgot to report that he is unemployed. This is one of the things that bugs me the most about Japan all the paedos and they way its almost accepted in society that "men" like young girls. If i had a daughter and this happened to her, one day in the future he would have me ridding up and then waited for him to turn down a narrow lane before attacking. Arghhhh

Until he gets convicted by a court, he's a suspect. We don't know the quality of the footage and a confession may be forced. As I've said before its about time Japan started a sex offender register, this might give potential hentai something to think about before they commit these type of offences, I know its not going to stop all of them but its a small deterrent, also it will restricted them getting jobs in school and sensitive places. and if they are on a register, the police will know who they are and can keep ann eye on there movements.

If he truly did what he did and what he says he has done I hope they lock him up for a very long time. Sadly, this being Japan, the story will probably just be drawn as manga and printed in a Weekly Jump with a 12 or 14 year old on the cover in a bikini, sold right next to the porn in the ice cream section of a convenience store. He'll get a slap on the wrist, and that's all. Hope the next girl is able to defend herself and do some serious damage.

Maybe it might help to stop sexualizing children in mangas and such and put an end to movies of women being assaulted / raped dressed as school girls. I don't have a daughter but seeing these things out there makes me sick. Read an article where a mother was ok with being paid 50,000 yen for men to take pictures of her little daughter in her bathing suit for 30 minutes. I was shocked and apparently it was legal! They call it U17 or something like that. I literally felt like throwing up. If he is let out, there is no doubt he will do it again. Guys like that don't just stop cause they got caught.
