Man arrested for setting fire to Aomori convenience store

Police in Gonohe, Aomori Prefecture, have arrested a man on suspicion of setting fire to a Sunkus convenience store.

According to police, the suspect, Koichi Okita, 32, works for the group company that operates the Sunkus stories. Fuji TV reported that Okita entered the Gonohe store on May 17, brandished a knife, poured gasoline on the floor and set it ablaze.

Police said that Okita used to oversee operations at the store in question.

Ah, yes, I remember having read the previous article JT had brought up on May 18 this year. And I have read it again just to make sure. So finally, the suspect has been arrested. Let's give the police for having arrested the culprit.

When I get stressed out, my body shuts down for about 3 hours. Wonder if he just snapped from the stress or if something else contributed? Like a death of a loved one or something else. In a lot of cases like these, stressers in a person's life (includes work) can lead them to act on criminal erges.
