Police in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, have arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of strangling to death his 32-year-old girlfriend.

According to police, the man, identified as Keiichi Sato, turned himself in at a police station at around 1 p.m. Sunday, and said that he had just killed his girlfriend at her apartment, Fuji TV reported.

Police went to the apartment of the victim, Nagisa Saito, and found her already dead.

Sato was quoted by police as saying he strangled Saito with his hands after they got into an argument because she wanted to end their relationship.

Again?! WTF is wrong with these guys? If she wants to end it, then move on. Why try to stay with somebody who doesn't want to be with you?

Ironic (sadly) that the one who didn't want the relationship to end is the one who ended it.

Oh, c'mon! Another one? That's four in the last fortnight! The prisons must be full of these under-developed emotionally losers.

If they girl doesn't dig you anymore, just move on..plenty of fish in the sea..no need to kill.

It's very possible this 32 woman turned into a foster mother for this guy. With all the dumb talk shows on J TV, one would think terrible situations like these are discussed daily. She should have seen the red flags, broke up over the phone and then call the police.

He's a male but I wouldn't call him a "man".

Just do public breakups now or do it via phone or text. Safety first!

the safest way to break up with j-guys is to change your name, appearance, move to a different country and then send an email to say that you want to end it.

Gosh, if only every murder victim could see those red flags. The police would have nothing to do and we'd all be living in a murder-free utopia.

I think this is becoming a daily routine news. The safest way is to introduce him to a loser friend that will get his attention, then he will no longer be interested or platonically in love with her, so that way he will not come back to stalk her to death. Else, he will stalk her through private detectives.

My, gosh. Can't people get on with life? Life isn't perfect and I'm not saying "Get over it you wimp" Put accept it. It's just that you didn't find the perfect person. You risk getting dumped if you want some one.

I think Japanese men can't stand to lose in a relationship, too much ego and pride I guess. Saddens me to say this but, RIP Saito-san.

Could be that the guy was an immature loser. But, it’s equally probable that they were both inflexible in their thinking and there was no honest, open communication between them; without which, there can be no personal growth. Now, there won’t be any for either one of them. Sad.

Terrible to hear. R.I.P!

Nakanoguy above is right. Women in such situations need to change name and move to different region.of japan in the middle of the night without telling the animal. Same happens worldwide in.male femAle battle. Not fair for her to die. I.hope she had a good teenage life and 20s life with happiness and smiles. All gone now. The animal attacked! Rip<>

These people really don't think, do they? Is the relationship now not over since she is dead? Is his life going to be better in prison? I say lock him up for the rest of it and let him find out, asking him periodically how it's going.

So the bloke loved her so much he had to kill her....Should have given her bunch of flowers and wished her the best luck with her new life. So sad....

As i wrote on the 15th APR. 15, 2015 - 02:53PM JST As a young man i remember the pain of getting dumped, but its part of growing up and a part of life that must be dealt with like a mature emotional controlled adult. Arghh here lieth the problem "mature emotional controlled adult".

Rest in peace young lady.

Better to put the word "some" in front of Japanese men instead of blaming a whole ethnicity.

Does happen way too often. When will guys learn to move on . . . . & "play" the game. Its not if you win or lose, but how you "play" the ladies.

Its not rocket-science.

My Pride is more important than anything. Pathetic!
