Man arrested for threatening food maker Acecook in Osaka
OSAKA —
Police on Wednesday arrested a 45-year-old man for threatening food maker Acecook in Osaka by telling them he poisoned their products and demanding 100 million yen.
Akira Kurita was arrested for allegedly sending a letter to the company’s headquarters in Okayama Prefecture. In the letter, he said he had poisoned their products and demanded 100 million yen or else he would poison more. The company received the letter on Nov 4 and reported it to police.
According to police, Kurita didn’t show up at a bus station near JR Osaka station which was supposed to be the drop-off point for the money. Instead, he turned himself in at a local police box near his house on Wednesday.
Kurita was quoted by police as saying, “I haven’t got a job and I needed money, so I thought a big company would be the best place to get it from.”

And the "Idiot of the Year Award" goes to...Akira Kurita.
Congratulations! The competition was stiff. (To say the least)

What else he can do if there is no job for him? Yes, he should get "Idiot of the Year Award," This way lawmakers will get the message across on their lazy desks. Will know someone offer him a job? At least he prove that he is capable to do some sort of work. I would give him a job to hunt down all the graft and scam crooks, or even perhaps guarding ATM machines.

He's obviously never worked for a big Japanese company.
