Man arrested in Kobe for killing woman in Chiba

CHIBA —

Police on Friday arrested a man in Kobe for killing a woman in his apartment in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture, on March 29. Katsuyuki Daigo, 39, was arrested around 2 a.m. for allegedly strangling his Shinobu Uekusa, 24. Daigo had been on a wanted list and appeared at a police box to give himself up.

According to police, he left a memo referring to his involvement in the murder at his apartment. The suspect was quoted by police as saying, “I killed her because she didn’t want to have a relationship with me. I liked her.”

    yep, loved her to death. she was right to refuse you but could have been smarter about where, when and how you told her. why go to his house?
