What I want to know is why they suspected him immediately after the murder but had to wait years for this? Not knowing makes it hard to say if this is good or bad police work. --Cirroc

This is why the death penalty should not be abolished and never underestimate the Japanese police force, the very reason Japan is still one of the safest places to live.

If he killed the woman and then kept the corpse close to him, would it be a lesser charge for not having abandoned the body?

Don't you just love those newspaper deliverymen?

At the moment is only 'suspicion of murdering.' Time will tell later on. Such issues are all over the world, believe it or not 'money is devil in detail.' Sure he admitted his crime, and when is charged than we can call him a 'greedy scumbag.' It took four years to nab him. I wonder what flick he will get from judge.

No money down on my car when I bought it!

Anyway, if he was the boyfriend of this woman...why didn't he just ask her to help him out?

says he used money to repay debts -

Well at least he was responsible with the money by paying off his debts, I mean he could have gone to Thialand and had a really good time.

In fact doesn't seem a little odd that he didn't move to another country with that much money?

  • silverwind20 at 05:05 AM JST - 24th October

I'm sure he did ask her to help him out but she refused hence the killed Yoshida as a result of quarling over the money part of the article.

Most of these newspaper delivery guys are dirty, uneducated, ex-cons. They are doing a crappy job that nobody else wants to do. This guy thought he had just found his "lucky ticket out of povery" and then went and killed this poor women! He, like most idiot criminals, have rocks for brains so he is just living out his miserable life and soon heading right for the death penalty, I hope!
