Man calls emergency crew, saying he killed wife
SHIZUOKA —
A 42-year-old man in Kakegawa, Shizuoka Prefecture, called 119 early Wednesday to report that his 35-year-old wife was dead. When an emergency crew arrived, he told them that he had killed his wife, police said.
The victim, Rieko Yagi, a mother of three, was found dead with stab wounds from a knife in her neck, while her husband had cuts on his wrists and neck. The man has been hospitalized and police are waiting until he recovers to question him.

More likely because the neck is uncovered and contains some very important veins and arteries- I doubt the voice has much to do with it, just as I doubt it's a particularly Japanese thing to stab people there. Three kids...that's very sad.

My question is: Did the man have cuts on his neck and wrist because this was a fight gone bad or did he try to commit suicide after killing his wife? Poor kids. Mother is gone and father likely to end up in jail.

dolphin honey...just another coward japanese piece of garbage that killed the mother of 3 children. and he failed to kill himself? Gee I guess he knew that after convicted all he would get is 5-7 years max or perhaps a suspended sentence if lucky. RIP Young Woman, May angels take care of your beloved children.

he should have just left instead of killing the wife and taking a mother from the 3 children. for whatever reasons, why did he have to kill her? if he thought he and the wife would die together, why didn't he think of the 3 kids who would probably be lost without parents? he probably had his own reasons, but can't help but thinking that it was an extremely selfish act -- put your kids before you..
