KANAGAWA —
A 25-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment in Hadano City on Wednesday, after the man she was dating was found dead in her car parked in a lakeside village in Yamanashi Prefecture, police said Thursday.
Police said the 26-year-old man found inside the car on Tuesday night died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Charcoal briquettes were found inside the car that belonged to Asami Kambara, a temp worker, who was found dead in the living room of her apartment on Wednesday at around 2 p.m.
The front door was locked at the time and there was a lot of blood in the apartment, police said.

Let me guess...she wanted to break up?

This crime scene description is mysterious, isn't it? The woman was found dead and her apartment had a 'lot of blood' in it. Not that I'm pushing for grisly details, but we don't know if there was a struggle or what...

Mid twenties. Sigh You should be enjoying yourself at that age, not offing yourself. If I could have had a few more years in my 20's...

i bet if the journalist do a thorough investigation, then they will find that the guy was inept, and lacked communication skills to keep his GF happy, like thousands of other men who don't kill their exes after being dumped.

Now they are both death and enjoying life in the other world and using 'solar power' so that they don't die again. Yes, 'charcoal briquettes' are very dangerous to burn them inside the room without any ventilation. I know many people that died due to such warming up in winter time. I would say that there was something wrong here with this incident, perhaps suicide, alcohol or drugs involved. Story is not very well prepared and investigative journalist' should perhaps disclose more details before publishing this story. We readers want more details not just pinch of skin.

This is just all too common any more. Kill the GF and then yourself? There really are a few screws loose any more. Back when I first got to Japan (late eighties) this stuff didn't happen much. Then things got "westernized." But this murder/suicide stuff - that's more over the top than I care to think.

You should take a wiki tour. These things have been happening for a looooong time. Its just that the media has more freedom to report than they had before.
