Who in the hell released what is said to be the suspect's comments, to the press? Police? If so trial and conviction by police and the media. Whatever the rights and wrongs of the suspect in this case, he can no longer get a 'fair' trial. If in fact he didn't say it we have a case of an absolute offence in creating false evidence. This form of press release just wouldn't go down in other countries legal/court system. What happened to the recording of a suspects questioning, or did it come from a release of that? Disgraceful
Ah, they´ve got the village idiot around to says to the charges. What took them so long?
If I had more trust in the J-cops abilities (other than that of forcing confessions), I´d feel a lot better about this.
Send him to prison... RIGHT NOW.
I am sure many people is waiting for him and he will find his feminine side very soon.
STOP these damned miserables... i'm really sick to know always about
this kind of things in this country.
Yes, was he tortured or forced to confess? It is very strange to get his confession over such long period of time. Did he talk to a good fat lawyer or even did he made a deal with police?

without any evidence and before a trial? send him to prison? right now?
I hope you are never accused of something and have the police yell at you nonstop for a week, who knows what might happen?
sorry, I mean yell at you for 3 weeks, he was arrested dec 6th. 3 weeks of being yelled at. I'm not saying he didn't do it, I'm just saying we need more than a confession given the circumstances and history of the Japanese Police.
no they didnt. he took her into his home, she was there for some time and then he drowned her in his bathtub? they however haven't found any evidence in the apartment that she was there. no fingerprints, no hair. nearly a month after his arrest still no evidence. pardon me for remaining skeptical
I would be a lot less sceptical if this guy wasn´t retarded. Who hard is it to get him confess when having him alone at the station for 3 weeks?
Give him to me, and I´ll have him confess to the JFK murder also.

God, I wouldn't believe any confession Japanese cops get after days of unrecorded 'questioning'

Isn't there some sort of forensic testing that can be accomplishing more than wasting time?

Did he confess or was he given no option but to do so? It's taking too long for the the events to unfold. I'm starting to have my doubts.

The police did not gather any evidence from the guys home that could prove his guilt and have to rely on his confession?
