Man assaults 14-year-old girl, cuts her hair with scissors on Aichi street

Police on Thursday said a 14-year-old girl was assaulted by a man, who cut her hair with scissors in Handa City, Aichi Prefecture, on Wednesday afternoon. According to police, the man suddenly assaulted the victim who was walking along a street around 1 p.m. He grabbed her from behind and cut her hair with scissors, she told police. After she screamed, the suspect fled.

The victim told police that the man was in his 30s and about 170 cm tall and wearing a T-shirt and jeans. The suspect took her hair away with him.
