Man on motorbike assaults schoolgirl, steals her underwear on Gifu street

A man on a motorbike assaulted a 15-year-old schoolgirl on the street and stole her underwear in Kakamigahara City, Gifu Prefecture, on Tuesday morning, police said.

According to police, the schoolgirl was attacked while she was riding her bike to school around 7:50 a.m. The man, wearing a helmet, rode up behind her and sprayed something in her face, causing her to fall off her bike. The two fought but the suspect overpowered her and stole her underpants, police said.

The victim told police that the man was in his 30s and about 170 cm tall, and wearing a black full-face helmet and black clothes.

I respectfully disagree. Sexual frustration isn't a phenomenon limited exclusively to Japan, and it doesn't result in assaulting children and stealing, of all things, their underwear. The guy who did this is off kilter in how he treats the people around him. Period. I genuinely feel sorry for the kid this happened to. She's going to be traumatized by this for a while. Kudos to her for fighting back.

The poor girl probably doesn't have an idea why anybody would want her underwear. I hope she thinks this is just another idiot behavior adults have come up with in order to deal with their sexual frustraition. if this dude can afford all the fancy helmut and clothes, I'm sure he could contain his overt behavior and buy his fedish items. Hurting a girl is too much.

I am not so sure about that. If you browse around Japanese deai sites, you´ll find quite a number of underage girls selling their panties. Quite a lot of sniffers around in this country.

But there is something weird about this story. How exactly does one "steal" underpants when they are being worn? He must have pushed her down and pulled them off... sounds more like attempted rape to me than "stealing" panties.

This stealing underwear, off a live human, in broad daylight, is just the type of behavior that's GOING ON ALL THE TIME in this country.

You have GOT to be kidding me? THIS happens all the time? What are the police doing? This is one of those crimes that makes zero sense to me... He could have purchased them at a store, bought them used on eBay, or maybe even have found some girl that didnt care and would even give it to him free of charge.

I've heard they now have vending machines that dispense girls' dirty underwear in Japan. So far, haven't heard of that in the states.
