Police in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, said Friday that more body parts have been found in the Tsuto River near where two severed arms were found on Tuesday.
Police divers found two body parts wrapped in paper and weighed down with a brick on the riverbed about 230 meters downstream from where the two arms were found, Fuji TV reported. The river is 20 to 30 cm deep.
Police did not specify what the body parts were, though some Japanese media reported they were legs. Police said the body parts had been in the river for about a month and belonged to someone about 140 cms tall.

140? Either a child or a smaller woman.

That is only 8 to 12 inches deep, less than knee deep. Unless this is a typo.

Start looking at the missing persons list, chances are a young female missing for about a month. Hope I'm wrong.

It's a concrete-banked urban river. The divers in the video might be crouching. Another news photo shows one diver chest-high standing next to one diver neck-high.

kiwi07: definitely less than knee deep! Why'd they bother tying it down with brick -- you would obviously be able to see the parts in so shallow a river. Sick stuff, all around.
