He is probably off to Fuji now for a good hanging.

Oh, no! Not again! That's two today! It seems every day some loon offs one or more of their family members.

    Ah, so they caught him?

Police are investigating the whereabouts of Abe’s missing 27-year-old son.

Guess not. Guess he got away.

Yeah, mod. You're really on top of this one.

Moderator: You seem to be confused. The son has not been caught. The story never said he was.

shiuu, only when he gives himself up, will they have "caught" him

Right you are. Which makes this case so completely different from other cases in which the perp got away ...

It is like 'catch me if you can.' Now he will be hiding for a while, cops will nab him and another murder trial will be on the open air. He must lost his marbles, or they melted down due to 'global warming and economy.' Was he also unemployed?

I wonder why the killer often calls the police. This seems to be quite common in Japanese family homicide cases. I'd be curious to know the reason.

May the mom and daugther RIP.

  • nurse13 at 03:47 PM JST - 6th April

RIP to both of the victims. If it was Abe Sumie san’s son that called the police to report the murders, he should have surrendered as well. Or is that how some crimes are executed in Japan? Call the police to report your crime and then flee the crime scene.

Razor, I have also been wondering why. I guess it's something to do with this 'uniform culture,' that even within criminals, no one wants to stand out among others by pulling his/her own 'stunt.' Therefore, all end up doing it the same way.
