I had a mate once tell me most Japanese are capable of suicide and more striking, the same most are capable to commit murder. Very sorry to read this as I jog in wee hrs and see lonely elders delivering papers and I always say hello and feel a bit bad for them as delivering papers in your 60s and 70s should be for the younger. Not quite sure why her job has anything to do with it but its the way it was reported. RIP.

But it seems she was killed in her home not on the street.

Ah, the Japanese and their need to label people. Much of the headline and the story is dedicated to her being a "Newspaper delivery woman" yet apparently that is completely irrelevant to the death.

Why the paranoia? It was discovered by her co-worker when she didn't show up for work. So it's relevant to the story.
