Good, I hope this works. Okinawans have been dumped on for far too long by mainland Japan and the U.S.

I hope they can get rid of the U.S. bases and have more autonomy from Tokyo

So as soon as they get rid of the U.S. bases and there are thousands of unemployed Okinawans, will it then be the U.S.'s fault for the economic ruin of the island? It will be the never ending cycle of blame slinging.

what are they still crying about revisions to the SOFA agreement?? the guy confessed to the crime and he has been turned over to the japanese for a much lighter punishment than he would have got if he was to be punished by the US government.

its like these people never hear of or care about crime unless its committed by a foreigner. do they really think chasing americans out of japan will solve their problems?

end human rights abuses by American servicemen in Japan" What human right abuses are they talking about? Crime? Does the US military have power over the Okinawan people still?
