Pachinko parlor robbed of Y3 mil
HIROSHIMA —
Police said Thursday they are looking for a man who robbed a pachinko parlor of 3 million yen on Wednesday night in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
According to TV Asahi, the robbery took place just after 11 p.m. A man came up to the exchange window, where players take their steel balls to exchange them for cash winnings, and threatened the 73-year-old part-time worker with a knife. He demanded money and fled with the cash in a shoulder bag.
The employee suffered a cut to his left thumb, TV Asahi reported. The robber was described as being in his 20s, about 175 cm tall and wearing black.

Pachinko parlors rob thier customers, so a customer robs a pachinko parlor. What comes around, goes around.

Could be an inside job. A new way of money-laundering.

What can one do with a knife when the pachinko guy is behind a window. Maybe he was about to take a break and as he was opening the door to get out of the booth, the man charged him.

You need balls of steel to play pachinko.
And also to rob the place as the'rey owned/run by the Yaks.

Well, I fell sorry for the 73 y old lady, but I don't really care about pachinko. I hope these plagues do burn.

If it was robbed by a regular, I am quite sure they will get the money back when he plays again.

No security camera for this business? Time to have one. That's the disadvantage of hiring a 73 year-old man vs. an adult employee.
