Police arrest 26-year-old man for killing his 83-year-old grandmother in Nagasaki

Police are planning to arrest a 26-year-old man for stabbing his 83-year-old grandmother to death at their house in Unzen City, Nagasaki Prefecture. Police said Monday the suspect is now hospitalized after trying to commit suicide by stabbing himself in the stomach with a knife.

According to police investigations, Fusayo Shikada, 83, was found by a relative at her house early Sunday. She had multiple stab wounds and was taken to hospital but was dead on arrival. Her 26-year-old grandson, who lives with her, was also found with stab wounds to his stomach. The man told police he had stabbed his grandmother and then tried to commit suicide.

She probably stopped putting unpanman furikaki on his rice. Or she wouldn't part with her pension so he could go to pachinko. It doesn't really matter what the reason was. He is obviously just another demented Japa with an urge to kill someone. Sad!

I don't know man, 26 y/o kid, no social skills, never been on a date, hates his life. Old woman, completely upset with her own kids leaving the grandkid for her to take care of, one day just loses it and rips into junior, pushing all his buttons, telling him what pathetic fool he is, coming from pathetic parents. I can imagine how that would put somebody over the edge...

Perhaps she was making unrealistic and unreasonable demands. Like he should move out and find his own place, get a job perhaps, stop collecting toy robots. What a sick man - to end the life of an old lady in her 80s, who no doubt gave him a ton of otoshidama when he was a spoilt rotten brat.
