All the wasted police resources on this case and the crims end up turning themselves in. A cop had his badge stolen and got a minor injury to his arm but the way the J-cops carried on you`d think someone shot the Prime minister.
Its a deal similar to the 'Deals' we hear of.. between terrorists and governments in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq. These four members gave up in the wide interest of their own group and for maintaining 'cordial' relations with the Police department.
In reality, the Dorayaki crime syndicate members turned themselves when they saw the officer from the Hello Kitty Police division crying. And they're all friends again now.
Todays "Crime Syndicates" in Japan have gotten really, errrr, nice. Mass-turning-self-in is quite handy for the police as well. Bicycle thieves should do that too!
Ummm... was the policeman not wearing his glasses? Could it have been a black banana? So, now they have turned themselves in. I see no mention of the "what appeared to be a gun" in the actual arrest.
4guys turned themselves in, doesnt mean they were the 4 who robbed the cops, these are the guys the crime bosses decided to take one for the team, err I mean crime organization,

I think 'owned' is the wrong word here. Perhaps 'given to the police' or 'in the possession of' would be more accurate.
When I read the headline, my first thought was, 'Did they turn themselves in?' I was shocked to discover I was right.
