Umm, I could be a competitor planned this heist. Hope it don't turn out like Guy Richies movie snatch. I'm about to watch this movie, it's so good. Anyway good luck policemen on recovering those TV's. I have a feeling they are not in Germany any longer.

I still don't fully understand why Sony, after displaying the first functional OLED TV 2 years ago, decided to quit commercialization. I didn't know they have teamed up with Panasonic and took up the project again. there is some strange decision making taking place at that company. I hope Samsung nailed the life time problem. despite the fact that their patents on OLED are rather lame

Did anyone stop and think that maybe these two TVs are not missing. Maybe they are in hiding or maybe they are just on holiday in Europe. They shouldn't be too hard to spot...that is unless they are wearing disguises.

If they used UPS and Fedex, the regional hub of the cargo planes is in China (Guanzhou Baiyou International Airport). Cargoes are sorted out there before final shipment --- The Chinese must have a knowledge about this incident.

If they use Fedex-Economy or UPS-Expedited services only, the cargo planes will stop somewhere in India, Qatar or UAE before going to Europe...... an additional suspect and makes more complicated to track the perpetrators.

If Samsung used DHL, some cargoes are sorted-out and re-grouped in Taiwan or Clark (Philippines) ... then to Qatar or UAE before going to Europe.

It they used direct flight from SKorea to Germany, much easier to track who did it.

I think SONY and its partners did not steal it. It was SONY who invented OLED. Sony, Panasonic and other Japanese makers admitted that with their own technology, they will catch-up Samsung technology within 6 to 12 months.

I think it's the German customs official who took that Japanese musician's violin. Seriously though...this is theft and is severely punishable. Can't even trust shippers these days. Hand-carry the merchandise next time!

Stealing the best brains Japanese (we mean engineers toshiba), paying ten times more,and in its their advertisements using symbols of Japanese culture, such as Mount Fuji, sumo.
