Yeah, because J cops always assume the obvious so they can close the case as soon as possible to avoid actual work. And in this case, avoid a confrontation with the actual murderer who may be still alive and well.
it wouldn't take much forensic work to determine the person who has self inflicted injuries could be the killer. Hope that the other victim can recover so she can tell police what actually happened.
This kind of violence is becoming so commonplace in Japan that perhaps the media should stop reporting it. rip

Could be the slave, sorry trainee rebelled then knowing he was done for anyway took his own life too.

If I were a killer who wanted to off an entire family, the Chinese trainee would be an obvious patsy. I hope they actually do some investigating...
