This whole case has the stench of poo! I would like to say, "It's about bloody time!" but my knowledge of this case prevents me from being so pessimistic. A more likely comment is, "How the heck did this little weasel get past half a dozen cops in the first place!?!" - Hopefully, someone that knows the whereabouts of this tool will step up for the cash. However, I reckon this little dweeb is already fish food after offing himself into a river somewhere.

Splendid show J-cops! Along with your wonderful posters (showing the suspect as he would look as a blonde transvestite) and your full size cardboard cut-outs of Ichihashi which speak in his voice at the touch of a button (possibly saying "You'll never catch me, bumbling cretins"), you'll undoubtedly solve the case soon! We just have to hope that the young skallywag doesn't take his shoes off and run away again when you find him - like the last time when you had 9 armed officers surrounding him - whoops! PS: Has anyone bothered to question his parents as to his whereabouts as they are almost certainly funding their murdering, pond-life offspring?

Magnus--The parents bowed in apology in front of the the cameras already. That's always been enough here.

They said 1-3 mil if the case is murder, rape, kidnapping and arson. Why 10 mil for abandoning a body case? Does it mean that in this case the official title of the crime (abandoning a body) is obviously wrong?

  • ca1ic0cat at 09:19 PM JST - 26th June

At least they are still trying to find the guy.

  • aerockyulhim at 09:24 PM JST - 26th June

If by "trying to find the guy" you mean sitting in the kobans waiting for him to show up voluntarily, then you're right.

  • WMD at 10:34 PM JST - 26th June

Yes the victim was British, so let Scotland Yard detectives take over the case. The japanese cops have demonstrated their incompetence long enough.

  • jacqueshellacque at 10:54 PM JST - 26th June

Shouldn't it be 10,000,000 rupiah or pesos? Wink wink, nudge nudge...

  • bellsmyre49 at 07:43 PM JST - 4th July

Yes the Britsh police would find him - if he's disguised as a Brazilian electrician.
