first of all, all this talk about the woman where the hell is the kids father. How come no one has mentioned him, now back to the point. This lady is sick and she does need to be sterilize and put away for life, may be she never heard about putting kids up for adoption.

If DNA test is positive than go ahead and bring her to justice. Does such cases normaly drag on for two years, or it took two years to get DNA results? Was accused or will be examined by the shrink, or police didn't execute arrest warrant? Something is telling me that she will walk from the coput free.

Horrible! Just horrible to hear that a mother would do this to her own child! It makes me sick to my stomache and makes me want to love and protect my own children all the more! Please give love and care to everyone, especially to small children who are our future!

It's so easy to criticize people we don't know. Post-natal depression is an illness and it does affect some women much more than others. Women who have suffered from it may partly understand why this woman did what she did. The fact that she kept the body may indicate that she did feel some attachment to the baby. Not just in order to conceal the body. Anyway, I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt.....that she killed the baby while under huge stress, physiological and mental problems (until I find out more information about her specific case).

So, before we give this woman the death penalty, let's find out a bit more about her situation and condition first. I'm glad Takuma7 above doesn't have the power to decide her fate!

I was told the first 6 weeks are the hardest and is the time its most likely to happen. Why do wild animals kill their young. There is something to it. There is something to be said for the women to go to their parents after they give birth here in japan. I even teased my wife about it after giving birth to our kids. Look for what ever reason she did it at least she didnt leave the baby in a car and play pachinko while it died. And a big yes to where the hell was the father.

Bottom line on this one as usual, mental sickness, murder of newborn baby and suspended sentence and you can blame it on post-natal depression... Where do you draw the line on a cold blooded murder? She murdered the girl two years ago and never came forward to admit she did it? If it was not her child, where would the blame? For that matter, what do you think the father of the child feels like at this point? The father might of been involved with this drama. We can only wait and see on the follow-up story. Thats my 2 cents and I am sticking to it.

why is at that they have an aging population.cos the young ones are not ready to take care of a kid.if her mother had killed her will she be alive to also give birth and kill it.the women here need real mental turnover.take her to north korea to serve her sentence for life
