I disagree completely. There are differences in sexual and racial offenses that affect the victims in profound ways in addition to any physical injuries that might occur. I believe it is very important to be sensitive to this and for laws related to these types of crimes to progress not devolve.

Here in the good ole USA and more specifically Memphis, we have cops that have been jailed for rape, drugs, and more! Well seeing as this was a police officer that had a gun on him during the time this sexual assault was committed......it's kind of amazing that japan's mental health screening for police officer applicants didn't catch this, you gotta question how safe you feel with Japanese cops with guns on them compared to american cops that have guns on them.
