40 or 60 wounds. heart, lungs, aorta. no possibility of the intent to kill or harm. rrright

60 wounds?...I totally agree with you guys that this murder case involves some sort of passionate matter....The heartless murderer had planned it well..(not that I support his cruel action).

i guess they were still counting them as of yesterday.
definitely there is a motive here. maybe a failed student
just check the guy's email account. 95% of what the police need to know is there...

I assume he locked the door.

??? Wearing gloves as no stains on the washbasin or the entrance door. Blood on the steps.

Killer could as well be 'vampire.' How many wound was in total I'm confused?
jonnyboy at 04:06 PM JST - 17th January
wow. 60? whenever i hear about heinous stabbings like this i find it hard to imagine how it could be performed... but i suppose after you've delivered the first few it becomes "easier" to keep going for as long as 5 minutes. makes it hard to imagine it could be anything other than a crime of passion related to his personal life
bobbafett at 12:22 AM JST - 18th January
60 times obviously points directly to an emotional killing. A very angry one. 60 times....you have to go back a few years to find the connection. Must be a grudge carried around for a very long time.
justmeinto at 06:32 AM JST - 18th January
Tend to agree with bobbafett on this one, deep seated passion at its worst built up over a very long time.

LFRAgain;
Well said, but to ask the JT posse of experts on everything to actually think rationally is asking a bit too much, I'm afraid.

At first, I thought this string was going to contain the usual run of moronic speculation. Then I saw this;
Hey BB. Don't vampires usual get their fix from one bite, or do some like hamburger? Please stay with us. I enjoy your posts.

So how long was the guy there stabbing him? Try it, take your fist, and pound it on the table 60 times. I can't imagine the rage involved in stabbing someone that many times. Assuming 60 is the final and correct number here.
ralphrepo at 08:51 AM JST - 19th January
60 times when you're calmly experimenting with pounding your fist is one thing; but while you're upset and angry, with your neck veins and eyeballs popping out, adrenaline pumping and you're blind with rage... well, I would think that time (or 60 blows) would go by rather quickly. Totally agree with the other respondent (Bobbafett) that this was an act of passion. I suppose they'll be looking at other profs who lost out for the same teaching position, or student who got failing grade, or perhaps a jealous under achieving sibling, etc. ...or maybe even something bizarre like a clandestine gay relationship? The cops certainly have their work cut out and I'm sure their criminal psychology personnel are already on overtime for this case.

It doesn't take 5 minutes to make 60 stab wounds.
I mean, it wouldn't take 5 minutes to make 60 stab wounds
