Just another case of a celebrity/actor/pro athlete getting a free pass.... great role models for today’s youth.

They are right. They should have gotten a more sever sentence. put them in jail.

She lied about what actually happened then played the "I was drunk" card. Sentence should be doubled on appeal methinks.

Donno, I am sure she aint clean as a whistle but, honestly in all my life I maybe met 3 professional and well mannered taxi drivers... Many times I felt the urge to beat one up, just for how rude they are

"She later apologized and said she did not remember the details because she was drunk."
And yet she seems to have recalled the details until the camera footage was revealed. Odd that, eh?
Alex: It doesn't say whether the camera footage showed the taxi driver trying to cop a feel, but it seems pretty damning against the couple who beat him up. It's pretty amazing they were let off at all given the injuries the cabbie suffered and the maliciousness of the attack.

Are Japanese becoming more violent ?

No need to worry Makiyo, Japan will not only find work for you, but will insure your popularity will soar here. Taiwan got it right, too bad Japan will see it differently.
